We are a husband and wife team who first joined forces in 2016 while working at Atlanta Pet Rescue and Adoption. Our shared love of special needs pets was immediately apparent and it has made us perfect partners in business and marriage
As pet parents to our own special needs dogs and cats, we understand the challenges that come with caring for these unique pets.
With combined experience in veterinary care and behavior, we created Magpie Pet Services to bring Fear Free, science based methods to in-home petcare.

Jason is a Fear Free certified Veterinary Technician, who first entered the animal care industry in 2014 when he took a position at his local animal shelter. Jason felt an instant calling to animal welfare and closed a decade long
chapter as a professional
photographer to pursue a career in the animal industry. Since then, Jason has gained experience in dog training, veterinary medicine, and in-home pet care. Jason is passionate about combining his knowledge of animal behavior and husbandry to bring Fear Free pet care to every environment, helping pets with special needs lead their best lives.
Caitlin McCook

Caitlin is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Fear Free Pet Professional, and a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC). With over a decade in the industry, Caitlin has experience instructing obedience, rally, and agility classes as well as using science based behavior modification to solve a range of behavior problems including reactivity and aggression. Currently Caitlin serves as the Behavior Specialist for Lifeline Animal Project and enjoys designing training plans for Magpie Pet Specialists training clients.
